About this opportunity
Working as part of a wider team, you will be responsible for your own caseload with support from a range of lawyers and legal officers. You will provide advice to the Council’s officers, members and Committees. You will oversee the day-to-day management and supervision of other team members and assist the wider management team in ensuring the provision of high quality, cost-effective and innovative legal services and corporate governance.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidates for these positions will be highly skilled and experienced solicitors, barristers or legal executives with commercial awareness and experience of working in either local authorities or a politically sensitive environment. It is a fantastic time to join us as we expand and develop our Services working in new ways to support the newly formed Cumberland Council.
